Your EV charger, installed correctly and controlled smartly

An EV charger is more than a socket on the wall. We choose the right power for your connection, limit your peak consumption and let you charge on your own solar power.

Electric driving starts with a good charging solution

If you drive electric, you do most of your charging at home or at work. A fixed EV charger charges faster and more safely than a standard socket and takes the rest of your consumption into account.

For every EV charger, we first look at your electrical installation: what grid connection you have, how much power is available, how far the fuse box is from the parking space and whether there are solar panels or a home battery. Only then do we choose the charger.

What charging speed is possible?

How fast you can charge depends on your grid connection and on what your car can handle. As a guide, under good conditions.

ConnectionCharging powerRange per hour of charging
Single-phase 230 V, 32 A7.4 kWapprox. 35 to 45 km
Three-phase 400 V, 16 A11 kWapprox. 50 to 65 km
Three-phase 400 V, 32 A22 kWapprox. 100 to 130 km

Many Belgian homes have a 3 x 230 V supply, where the achievable power is lower. We calculate what is possible for your connection. Range depends on your car, the temperature and your driving style.

Smart charging

Dynamic load management
The charger measures your total consumption and charges more slowly when the oven, heat pump or tumble dryer is on. That way your main fuse doesn't trip.
Lower capacity tariff
In Flanders, part of your grid costs depends on your highest 15-minute peak each month, the capacity tariff (capaciteitstarief). Smart charging keeps that peak low.
Charging on solar power
Surplus from your solar panels goes into your car instead of to the grid for a low feed-in payment.
App and charging history
Start, schedule and track charging sessions from your smartphone.
Cost reimbursement
For a company car, we install a charger with a certified (MID) meter, so your employer can correctly reimburse the kWh you charge.
Wall-mounted EV charger with coiled charging cable on a red brick wall

Neatly installed, on the wall or on a post

An EV charger is best placed as close as possible to your parking space, with the cable within easy reach. On the exterior wall, in the garage or on a post on the driveway. We route the supply cable neatly, underground or in trunking.

We install a dedicated circuit with the right protection and deliver an installation that is ready for the mandatory inspection by an approved inspection body (erkend keuringsorganisme).

EV chargers for businesses

Multiple charging points
A charging area for staff, visitors or your own fleet, with the available power shared between the points.
Badge access
Only authorised users can charge. You can see what was charged per user.
Expandable
We lay the cabling so more charging points can be added later.

Frequently asked questions

Does an EV charger need to be inspected?

Yes. A new circuit for an EV charger must be inspected by an approved inspection body. We make sure the installation complies with the AREI (the Belgian electrical installation regulations) and is ready for inspection.

How long does installation take?

A standard installation on an exterior wall is usually done in one day. Long cable runs or groundwork take longer. You'll see this in the quote.

Can my current grid connection handle an EV charger?

Usually, yes, with dynamic load management. During the site visit we check your connection and fuse box and tell you what power is achievable.

Can I charge with my solar panels?

Yes. With a charger that measures your production, you charge when your solar panels produce a surplus. A home battery takes this even further.

Is the charger suitable for every electric car?

The chargers we install have a Type 2 connector. That is the European standard and fits virtually every electric car and plug-in hybrid.
